How to Use Holos ABC Active A Oil Serum

Massage 4-5 drops onto clean facial and neck skin at night. Use before or instead of moisturiser. Introduce slowly a couple of times a week. Use no more than once a day.

If using as part of Holos ABC Active range, use alone at night and follow up with B &/or C the next morning.

For external use only.

Rinse with warm water if the product gets into the eyes. Store in <20ºC, out of sunlight and out of children’s reach. Vitamin A may irritate sensitive skin. Do not use alongside AHAs.

• 0.5% Vitamin A Palmitate
  Vitamin A Palmitate or Retinyl Palmitate is nature identical but a synthetically derived version of Vitamin A (We’re a vegan brand afterall).

1. Stable and less irritating than other Retinoids so suitable for those starting out on retinol or have sensitivities to it.
2. Cell turnover: Rejuvenates the skin by aiding cell turnover in the epidermis, helping old cells move along to make room for new cells.
3. Collagen production: Retinyl palmitate is converted to retinoic acid in the skin. It then binds to specific receptors in collagen producing cells that lead to increased collagen production, helping to provide structure, strength and support to the skin, resulting in a firmer, more youthful appearance.
4. Improves skin elasticity by removing degenerated elastin fibres and enhancing production of new elastin, again providing structure and support to the skin.

• • 4% Bakuchiol Bakuchiol is a plant alternative to Retinol and is thought of as a Vitamin A/Retinol alternative because it has been scientifically shown to act on the same retinoic acid receptors on the skin. This means that Bakuchiol has been shown to have the SAME effects as retinol, without many of the sensitivity issues some people have with retinoids.

DO NOT MIX WITH AHAs/ EXFOLIATION Otherwise, not as irritating as retinol so safe with other actives.
