How to Use Holos ABC Active - B Gel Serum in Your Skincare Routine

Massage a pea-size amount onto clean damp facial and neck skin once a day. Use before moisturiser. If using as part of Holos ABC Active range, use in the morning before C, having used A, the previous night.

For external use only.
Rinse with warm water if the product gets into the eyes.
Store in<20°C, out of sunlight, and out of children’s reach.

Benefits of Holos ABC Active - B Gel Serum for Oily and Acne-Prone Skin

• 5% Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)

1. 1. Helps to build Keratin, a protein produced in the epidermis of the skin which firms the skin.
   2. Helps to maintain the lipid barrier by encouraging the production of ceramides, also boosting hydration by keeping water locked in.
   3. Helps to reduce inflammation so may be helpful for those with inflammatory skin conditions.
   4. Has been shown to minimise pore size most likely from helping to support the structure of the skin.
   5. Helps to regulate the production of oil (sebum) the sebaceous glands produce.
   6. Helps to protect the skin against sun damage and can rebuild healthy skin cells.
   7. Helps to protect against oxidative stress caused by environmental pollution, while also rebuilding healthy cells.
   8. Can help treat hyperpigmentation. Studies show that 5% is enough to do this.
   9. 5% has also shown to reduce the signs of ageing caused by the sun – fine lines and wrinkles.
   10. Can be used to treat acne, especially inflammatory forms like papules and pustules helping to reduce lesions and improve skin texture.

• Hyaluronic Acid

1. 3 weights to help hydrate the upper, mid and lower epidermal layers by binding water to the cell.
2. Regulates inflammation and damage caused by UVB rays.
3. Heals wounds and reduces the chance of infection.
4. Helps to reduce redness associated with acne.
5. Helps to improve the skin barrier.
6. Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid penetrates deeper and can store and be retained so is longer lasting than high weight hyaluronic acid.
7. Lager molecules form a film on the surface of the skin, providing more visible results that are more short term. Larger molecules have anti-inflammatory properties.

Soothing to irritated or inflamed skin.

• Cucumber Glycerol Extract

1. Anti- inflammatory so can soothe and calm.
2. Naturally contains Vitamin C so can be used for brightening. This is why it is used to treat darkness and puffiness around the eyes.
3. Antioxidants help protect against free radical damage that will cause ageing.

• Hexapeptide-40 sh-Polypeptide-76

1. Plant produced protein
2. A retinol alternative which stimulates collagen 1 ( the most abundant in the body and most beneficial to skin (alongside collagen 3)).
3. No phototoxicity so can be used day or night.
4. Has been shown to reduce the count volume and depth of wrinkles.
5. Increases firmness and elasticity
6. Helps to reduce the visibility of pores (due to increased collagen).
