Exputex is a sugar-free cough medicine that helps break down thick mucus and alleviate a chesty, phlegmy cough.

Exputex also helps move phlegm from your throat and chest.

Contains

The active ingredient: carbocisteine. Each 5ml spoonful of Exputex contains 250mg of carbocisteine ·

Other ingredients: levomenthol, ethanol (alcohol), saccharin sodium, sunset yellow FCF (E110), sodium ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (E215), sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E217), sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E219), citric acid monohydrate, sodium hydroxide, carmellose sodium, glycerol, orange flavour, condensed milk flavour and purified water.

Dosage

• Adults: Initially 15ml three times a day, reducing to 10ml three times daily when a satisfactory response is obtained.
• Children: 6 - 12 years: 5ml two to three times daily.
• Children: 2 - 5 years: 2.5ml two to three times daily.
• Under 2 years: Not recommended.

Warnings

• Do Not Exceed the Stated Dose.
• If you are pregnant, currently have or have ever had a stomach ulcer, consult your Doctor or Pharmacist before taking this product.
• If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
• Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Storage Instructions

• Once opened use within one month.
• Do not store above 25 °C.
• Store in original carton in order to protect from light.
