Home Monitoring Tips

• Avoid smoking, exercising, or consuming caffeinated beverages or alcohol within 30 minutes before measuring.
• Rest in a chair for 5 minutes before measuring, with your left arm resting comfortably.
• Ensure your back is supported and feet are flat on the floor.
• Place the bottom of the cuff at the crook of your elbow.
• Take two readings daily:
  • One in the morning before taking medication
  • One in the evening before dinner
