Ovelle Zinc & Castor Oil Ointment is used as a topical emollient and astringent skin application. It acts as a soothing and protective application. It is a traditional topical preparation that contains zinc and is applied to protect the skin from irritation. Zinc oxide acts as skin barrier to prevent and heal skin irritation. Users generally apply a generous amount of Zinc & Castor Oil Ointment to completely cover the treatment area.

How to Use:

As a nappy cream: Apply liberally to baby's skin during nappy changes to soothe and protect skin from irritation. As a skin barrier cream: Apply as often as required to the affected area. Suitable for frequent use on babies, children & adults.

Our supervising pharmacist, graduated with a degree in pharmacy from Trinity College Dublin. She has worked here for the past 21 years. In addition, she has a keen interest in taking a holistic approach, incorporating the impact of diet and lifestyle, on health.
 
 

Kenneth

Pharmacist
Kenneth graduated with a master’s degree in pharmacy from University College Cork in 2023. Kenneth was also Captain of the UCC Powerlifting Club from 2019 to 2022 and is also, in his spare time, a freelance photographer.
