PharmaCare Elastic Tubular Support – Sizes A to G

The Pharmacare Elastic Tubular Support is a firm effective support that allows freedom of movement and is comfortable to wear. It is an easy and effective treatment for strains, sprains and weak joints. The support is flesh colour and can be reapplied as and when required, and can also be washed.

Sizes:

• Size A – 4.5cm x 1m, suitable for limbs of size 8 – 10.5cm and is suitable for a child’s wrist, elbow or ankle.
• Size B – 6.25cm x 1m, suitable for limbs of size 12.5 – 14.5cm and is suitable for small wrists or elbows.
• Size C – 6.75cm x 1m, suitable for limbs of size 15 – 25cm and is suitable for medium wrists or elbows, and small ankles.
• Size D – 7.5cm x 1m, suitable for limbs of size 26 – 35cm and is suitable for large wrists or elbows, medium ankles and small knees.
• Size E – 8.75cm x 1m, suitable for limbs of size 36 – 45cm and is suitable for large ankles, medium knees and small thighs.
• Size F – 10cm x 1m, suitable for limbs of size 46 – 50cm and is suitable for large knees and medium thighs.
• Size G – 12cm x 1m, suitable for limbs of size 51 – 60cm and is suitable for large thighs.

Uses

The Pharmacare Elastic Tubular Support is an easy and effective treatment for strains, sprains and weak joints. It can also be used for securing a wound dressing and protecting wound sites.

Application

• Cut to twice the length required for the injured limb
• Pull the first half over the effected limb and then double back to add an extra layer of support to the injured area
• For wrist or lower arm injuries, it is advisable to make two small cuts of 1cm for the thumb
